Open Streets is an initiative that is occurring worldwide, and finally came to Toronto in the summer of 2014. It’s now an annual event where main urban roadways are closed from motorized traffic, for the pleasure of everyone to enjoy; be it by foot, bicycle, rollerblades...it’s an opportunity for communities to take back the streets, to explore their neighbourhoods from a different point of view, and to encourage more public space in the city. This was my logo design and branding for the event.
